Versant for Aviation

A Proven Test to Achieve ICAO English Compliance

The Versant Aviation English Test (VAET) was created as a robust, relevant, and reliable tool to help aviation employers meet the new requirements from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) that mandate acceptable English language levels for pilots and air traffic controllers. The test was developed under a co-operative research and development agreement with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and assesses the ICAO-defined spoken English levels of pilots and air traffic controllers. VAET aligns and is compliant with the standards specified by ICAO, while offering aviation employers a test that is practical to use - one that is more efficient and consistent than most traditional interviewing techniques.
